What to Expect at Brownley Chiropractic

A common compliment we receive is that our office staff is very friendly and welcoming and that our patients feel at home in our office. We invite you to visit us and see for yourself!

First Visit:

Upon entering our office you’ll be greeted by our front office staff. We’ll have you fill out some paperwork, or you can download the new patient forms right from this website and bring them with you. We take the time to explain our paperwork and answer any questions you may have regarding the forms, your insurance coverage, etc.

Next you will be brought in to meet Dr. Brownley and he will take an extensive history, do a postural analysis, range of motion study and perform neurological and orthopedic tests to determine the cause of your specific condition. X-rays may also be taken at that time. This first visit is more lengthy than subsequent visits as we take the time to discuss your personal health goals.

We use x-ray to help precisely diagnose your condition

You will then schedule your next visit, the Doctor’s Report of Findings (ROF), with Julie at the front desk. This next visit will take about 45 minutes. We find it helpful to bring your spouse or partner with you for the Report of Findings so that they can fully understand your specific health situation and wellness goals.

Second Visit:

Your second visit will be the most revealing and eye-opening for you. Dr. Brownley will conduct a Report of Findings (ROF) for you. He will take all the information gleaned from the first visit and give you a clear and concise picture of what is causing your condition and the treatment protocol to return you back to optimum health through chiropractic care. Many patients come out of the ROF claiming that it was the most thorough and informative explanation they had ever received in a doctor’s office. After a treatment protocol has been outlined and agreed upon and all questions answered, Dr. Brownley will then begin your specific treatment regimen.

A Typical Office Visit:

After the initial investment of time spent on the first and second visits to lay the foundation of understanding chiropractic care, regular chiropractic adjustment visits require much less time. An average office visit takes about 15-20 minutes.

But don’t think the brevity of the regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, treat you and get you on your way.

Like regular workouts at the gym, each visit builds on the one before. Miss a visit and we can lose the momentum needed to progress towards your wellness goals. We request that you reschedule any missed visits right away.

We realize your time is valuable. We do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
